How To Fold & Assemble The Santa Cootie Catcher
Bring the magic of the North Pole to your fingertips with our Santa Claus Cootie Catcher. This jolly fellow will not only keep the spirit of Christmas alive but also provide endless entertainment for the little ones. As you fold, color, and create, you'll witness the transformation of a simple piece of paper into a miniature Santa, ready to spread joy and merriment.
Start with the square piece of paper. Fold the square in half horizontally, creasing the paper firmly. Unfold the paper and then fold it again in the opposite direction, creating another crease. Unfold the paper, so you have a square with two creases which should cross each other in the middle of the square.
Now, fold each corner of the square towards the center, so the points meet in the middle. This will create a smaller square with the center cross still visible.
Flip the square over and fold each corner towards the center once more. You should now have a smaller square.
Fold the smaller square in half.
Then gently slide your fingers into the flaps of the folded square and carefully open them up. This will create the opening of your cootie catcher.
Glue the top sides together and then the bottom sides together. You will no longer be able to open the cootie catcher if you do this but it will help the puppet stay together for kids to play with.
Glue the legs to the bottom of Santa Claus.
Glue the arms to the two sides of Santa Claus.
Glue the hat on top of the forehead.
Glue the nose and mustache directly above the mouth, allowing the mustache to slightly overhang the mouth.
