Coffee Filter Santa's Beard Craft for Kids

Materials Needed:

  • Santa's Beard Template

  • Coffee filters

  • Crayons, Colored Pencils or Markers

  • Glue

  • Scissors

How to print the Coffee Filter Santa Craft.

Step 1: Download and Print the Template 

To begin your craft you need to download the Coffee Filter Santa Template. This download is available for Free at the bottom of the post. After you have downloaded the template, print it on 8.5x11 white paper.

Step 2: Color

Once you've printed the template, it's time to unleash the creativity! Use markers, crayons or colored pencils to bring Santa to life. Your child is the artist, so let their imagination run wild!

How to cut the head for Santa's Beard Craft.

Step 3: Cut

Cut out the head and set it aside. Utilizing scissors is a skill that takes practice and is essential for your child's development. To enhance this skill, I've created Santa-themed scissor cutting exercises. These exercises are designed to guide your child from learning to cut straight lines to mastering more challenging zigzag lines, fostering their developmental growth. Step 4: Fold Coffee Filter In Half

Fold the coffee filter in half. Feel free to use any size of coffee filter; in the photos, I utilized a small coffee filter designed to hold 1-4 cups.

How to glue the Santa's Beard Coffee Filter Craft together.

Step 5: Glue

It's time to assemble the Santa craft. Begin by applying a generous amount of glue to the rectangle labeled "Glue." Position the folded coffee filter on top of it. Open up the filter, add additional glue to the center, and then close the coffee filter back down. Apply more glue to the top of the filter and affix the head on it.
